        As an alternative, instead of the RD, bring a 50mm (1.8 or 3.5). It
fills that gap and makes a great lens cap.
        Regarding the Pentax, I know nothing about them but I'm sure it's a
fine camera but I couldn't resist the jibe. Your point is well taken.
Frequently my minimal kit is an OM-2 with the 35-70 f3.5-4.5. If it must fit
in the pocket then it's either the XA or Stylus Epic (if I can only have
only one focal length I prefer the 35mm).
        Last but not least...have a great trip.

options.....:) The 35RD (not the RC) is a small thingie, so it might
be a possibility...

Hey, it is a nice camera and it has very nice optics. Have you ever
seen the Pentax "limited" series? I dare say that they rival the
better Zuikos in both optics and build....then again, I don't dare
say that on this list (heck, even on the Pentax list I would get
flamed for saying that...)
