You can get a Zuiko 35-70/3.5-4.5, a tiny but excellent lens favored by
many listees for something like half that price, from me, for example,
among others.
Is it actually made in Germany? The simple spec. is identical to the
Cosina made Zuiko 35-70/3.5-4.8, which is generally considered the
poorest performer among the Zuiko 35-70 lens models. Take a look here

for a pic and specs on the Zuiko for comparison.

Quck question -- I'm teaching in Singapore this weekend and
although working flat out managed to find a few minutes
to check out the nearby shops.
Found a Carl Zeiss Jena 35-70mm 3.5-4.8 OM mount zoom.
Personally I've never come across one such before.
Is this a good lens?
Is approx $US250 a good price? It's NIB.
Seems a little high to me.
That's high for any brand.
