I am very pleased with the 75-150 f4. Here is another example

I have done a few comparison shots with my 100/2.8 and 135/2.8 with
the zoom at the same focal lengths, and the 75-150 is essentially the
same to my eye except perhaps a tiny bit cooler.
I think this lens, and the 35 - 70 f3.4-4.5, make a great travel
combination. I often have to travel light and fast with non-photo
equipment appreciative companions, if you know what I mean.
