Well, from my reading of that early review it's got allot going for it -
and resolution really looks pretty similar. Noise, however, could be a
problem. I certainly hope the Olympus folks are still tinkering; I'd
expect that they are.

BD, welcome to the OM list. There must be about half a dozen of us on
both
the OM and the LUG lists... Anyway, I think you just missed the postings
about the E-1 sample pics on www.dpreview.com, unfortunately, it appears
that the E1 suffers from more noise problem and less resolution than the
competitors such as the D100 and the 10D. I REALLY REALLY want the E1 to
be
a viable option. I hope the production models will improve of those
areas!
Two more months to wait, I guess.
