I too have checked in on this thread periodically, and it seems now to have
gone awry. Early on, someone suggested that another group had discovered that
sunlight would work to reduce/eliminate the yellowing. I did a little search of
the Yahoo Camera Fix archives and found a whole raft of posts on the subject. I
think most of these folks were dealing with Pentax Takumar lenses, many of
which are yellowing as they age. Bottom line is that the sunlight treatment
works - the yellowing is reduced/eliminated after a couple of weeks of exposure
to sunlight.
