Thanks Greg for that info!
Will check mine again, but I noticed no dents on the
barrel when I got it.
Another question: I would like to use it on a monopod
for sports photography, but it has no tripod mount
ring. Is there some custom mount available from
somewhere? Any ideas?
Of course, just mounting it on the OM and putting the
OM on the tripod/monopod should work as the Tamron is
not THAT heavy, but balance would be nicer if it had a
ring.
How do you mount the combo when using yours on a
tripod, Bill?
Thanks,
Thomas
