I do too, but the skyline at sunset is particularly romantic.
I first visited Rome when I was a schoolboy of 16. I went with the
school for the Pope to beatify the 40 Martyrs in 1970 and had a
wonderful time. The Beatification took place in St Peter's Basilica
with the Pope as Celebrant and took a looong time. A couple of friends
and I slipped outside for a mid-Mass cigarette and the Swiss Guards
would not let us back in ...
On that jaunt I used an Instamatic to take photos.
