I should add that the one complaint by some users is zoom creep. They're a
"one-touch." Neither of mine creep very easily, but it is possible to
cause some if it's jarred when carried nose down. One of the "fixes"
Tamron made with its 28-105 replacement (which gets mediocre marks in
resolution) is a "lock" to prevent creep.
