I read an article several years ago about the Canadian police doing
something similar to catch people using illegal radar detectors. The would
put out a radar signal and then stop those cars that hit the brakes in
response. /jim

Yes Chris, its something we all take for granted but next time you see a
traffic cop pointing a speed gun at you just try to keep your eyes off
that speedo.
