Poor guy.
This morning I drove out of my subdivision (three blocks at
25mph) which involved driving down a fairly steep hill, hung a
left, went one block, caught the stop-light, went across the
overpass, hung another left and then proceeded to the next city
on the Interstate travelling with traffic.
Traffic speed and posted speed are two polar-opposites here.
Posted speed is 65 MPH which is only observed during snowstorms.
Normal traffic flow is 15-20 MPH higher. You'll find an
18-wheeler breathing down your sunroof if you have the
cruise-control set below 70 MPH.
Took exit and proceeded into town on the 4-lane divided highway
at a speed slightly above the posted 55 MPH. Eventually you hit
town and the speed limits drop down to 45 MPH, 35 MPH and
finally 25 MPH. A couple blocks later and I'm pulling into the
parking lot at work.
26 Miles and five stoplights in 20 minutes. No school zones.
