It sort of defeats the purpose for travel-oriented businesses. I can see the
point for a merchant like John H., where a wait to get a money order there
isn't usually a big deal. But this would make them useless for travel
outside one's own country. Perhaps it's a fuel-saving measure.
Have the cards/banks changed their merchant protection recently?
