Bill,
Just returned from there. I took all my film in lead bags (Provia 100F and
Delta 400 Pro) It survived multiple x-ray passes in Dublin and Gatwick (in
hand luggage, of course). You're welcome to borrow my lead bag - it holds a
Fuji brick (box) - if you can't work out a local purchase option.
Regards,
Gary

Subject: [OM] Help from UK members, were to get film
I will begin my trip to the UK in about 2 weeks and I thought 7dayshop.com
was going to be the supplier of both my film and processing, however when I
called to place my order, they said they couldn't accept a credit card which
didn't have a UK address. Given that I live in the USA, that is a rather
unlikely situation. They do, by the way, seem to be a great resource for
folks living in the UK.
Can anyone head me in the right direction for a Internet/Mail order
supplier/processor for film in the UK. I'm trying to avoid the multiple
passes through the airport x-ray machines and also trying to buy film that
likely would not be available at the corner drug store.
An alternate bit of help would be the location of a shop in Shannon Ireland
or Minehead, Somerset for film.
We are still planning on a morning get together on the 30th in London for a
little photography and breaking of bread. Please contact me off list if
interested.
