Following up on this earlier thread (and a more recent enquiry), I have
found a source for the ersatz-PM-Mtob adaptor described by
baysm@xxxxxxxxxxxx. RMS thread to T-mount thread, allows use of the macro
lenses on T-mounts.
The adaptor is a "stock item" available to special order from SRB Film, a UK
photo-optical engineering supplier.
The front comprises the RMS thread mount, the rear a 42mm thread for a
T-mount (so you could also use the Zuiko macro lenses on your neighbour's
N*k*n).
Here (in ASCII-CAD!)is a representation of a cross-section of half of the
adaptor (but keep in mind that I do not know the thickness of the adaptor):

confirms is the thread for the Zuiko macro lenses)

The face marked A above will be 10mm from the lens flange, when fitted into
a T-mount. This compares to a PM-Mtob which is 6mm thick overall.
The adaptor above costs GBP30, while the same supplier can provide an OM
T-mount for GBP15.56 - both prices include 17.5% VAT for EU customers. See

No connection, but SRB are well known, and well recommended over here.

Could the design be modified to utilize an Oly t-mount adapter?

This particular adapter requires an insert that has a reverse 15º bevel on
the camera side that fits in a 49.5mm hole in the body of the adapter which
is then secured with three small screws @ 120º.
