I asked about the XA's and there were quite a few comments starting around
7/7/03, with subjects: "oly point and shoot"; "My XA review"; "The variety
of XA's".... i still have some of them in my inbox so i could forward them
if you like...
Couple of links on the XA's:

There appears to be a constant supply on *bay with prices all over the
board, from $10 - $90, and they get listed all over the map... i picked up
4 over the last 3 weeks:
1. XA3 - BIN $45
2. XA2 with A11 - BIN $30
3. XA2 with A11, case, box, manuals - $35
4. XA with A11, box and manuals - $25 (opening bid amount, no one else bid)
The XA hasn't arrived yet so i can't compare, and i've run film through the
XA3 but it isn't developed yet... not much difference between the XA2 and
XA3... ISO range goes from 25-800 to 25-1600, DX... introduces +1.5 EV
back-light compensation... weight increases form 7.1oz. to 7.8oz...
>From watching *bay for a couple of weeks, i'd put a ballpark average for a
complete (flash, box, manuals, etc) XA2 at around $30, XA3 around $40, and
the XA $50... there's so many listed though that there's a LOT of
variation... before i decided to buy, a NIB XA2 went through, NR and opening
at $19.99 and no one bid on it... an XA2 went for $10 the other day, and i
saw at least one XA go in the $90's... noticed a couple of XA4's go through
but didn't track them...
