It seems as if I will soon get the opportunity to replace the cells in an
M.15 pack. I found a place that has the whole range of cells that would be
possible to use (plus a few thousand that wouldn't work <g>) Seems like a
battery treasure-trove. http://www.batterystation.com/.
For those in the group that have one (ha!), an opinion:
Would I be better served to replace the old cells with matching 12 x 1/3AA
Ni-Cad cells, 12 x 1/3AA NiMH cells, or 14 x 1/3AAA NiMH cells. I don't use
the motor drive every day by any means so the lack of "memory effect" in the
NiMH might be the NiMH's greatest asset. However, the high-amp discharge of
the Ni-Cads might be worth the need to watch my charging habits more
closely.
Whadda think?
Thanks.
