Well, it's not the colour of the *coatings*, but the colour of the *glass*
itself what goes yellow on that older, radiactive lenses. Putting the lens
in front of a white surface would show a disctinct yellow cast thru the
lens; but on most, non-radiactive lenses, the image thru the lens will be
about the same colour than the original surface.
My silvernose 50/1.4 (serial 133xxx!!!) does *not* show this yellow cast,
but the coating reflections are indeed yellowish-golden, as many other old
lenses do.
