Well, I've done a good deed for a current/former list member and taken shipment
of a brand-new (Olympus factory-reconditioned) 250 f/2.0 Zuiko monster. The
buyer in Australia paid me, and I paid for the lens and accepted shipment,
which will be forwared on to OZ after a few days of testing.
This is a monster lens, shorter than my old 350/2.8, but still a VERY
substantial piece of equipment. I was surprised at the short length.
BTW, the factory-reconditioned lens looks as-new, from my quick look. You
couldn't tell it from a brand new one, including the pristine case.
The buyer has asked me to shoot a little with it to ensure that it's in working
condition....now that's such a hardship, don't you think? <vbg>
In any case, it will be neat for it to pass through my hands, even if I don't
get to keep it.
