[OM] OM-2 problem

My OM-2 shutter has only one speed! Viewfinder meter seems to work 
correctly, but no matter the aperture in Auto or the shutter speed ring 
setting in Manual, the speed appears to be the same, 1/60 or one of the 
higher ones with the same shutter travel. Any simple ideas to check out 
before the hospital?
