Well I'm not sure how many people read my post a few weeks ago entitled
"good day/bad day" but I did receive 1 reply asking to see the results of
the shots from that day. I've finished scanning and working with the first
roll of 6 from that day and have some of the better shots online now. The
address is:
http://www.tildefrugal.cjb.net/cgi-bin/image_search.php?roll=000z
(note the address is not the same as my address below since this is only up
on the development version of my site since I'm still hammering out new
features and design). Feedback would be greatly appreciated.
The first shot was taken with my 35/2 but after that all were done with the
21/3.5 mounted on a OM-1n. The film is T-Max 400.
I'm glad to finally get some B&W back up on my site. I had some older B&W on
my site a few years back but I wasn't happy with the results so I took it
all off. I think my B&W has improved (change of film and switching to the OM
system seems to have made a big difference) and I'm finally starting to get
a good B&W workflow worked out for my scanner which has made a huge
difference in the amount of time it takes for me to work on a scan and also
the results I get in the end. Hopefully, with the new workflow, I should be
able to get the 5 remaining rolls from this day up as well as some of my
other B&W. I find the mood of my B&W is a lot darker than my colour work so
it's nice to have both aspects of my photography represented again.
