I suspect it has more to do with the circuit design than anything else (like
age), but the exposures with alkaline (1.5v) batteries are almost always
within +/- 1 stop -- not bad for a compact. The error on OM-1's varies from
about a stop to more than 2 stops -- no good for a pro quality frame.
