I agree. Still, I find that in those (not so rare) situations where I
don't think I will be doing any macro-work but somehow runs in to
something requireing "close attention" it is a life saver :)
Of course, no match for the 50/3.5 with the 14mm tube :)

That was actually quite fun. I should get back to Tilden park next

Nice. So now you've been playing around with the 35-105, don't you
agree that it's a decent little lens? I was always a big fan of
one-touch zooms (or rather, I never cared for two-touch zooms), so
the 35-105 is a nice fit for me, even though it may not be the "best"
zoom in the Zuiko lineup....
