I am planning to purchase an F 280 flash for my OM 4T after having been
frustrated by the short distance for fill in provided by a T20 given that in
many situations using even ASA 100 film the aperture setting is at F 16
since sync speed is limited to 1/60...this are moments one sorely wished Oly
provided a syn speed of at least 1/125. If I got it right, a T20 at
aperture of F 16 would provide just over one meter if one wanted a 1:1
ratio? So, if I wanted fill in to be set at one F stop less than ambient, I
would stand about 2 meters approx from the subject? ( i.e. GN of 20/F11?).
Will buying an F280 flash give me more range?
How much more than a T20 0o rT32?
At 1/125 shutter speed, what distance can I stilll be able to provide fill
in at one stop less than ambient?
Regards
Titoy
