I'm trying to start my zuiko collection with two lenses and have had
six from Jessops to date with one keeper found.
135 2.8: One had sticky iris, two focussed 'beyond infinity'
35-70 3.6: first was beyond economical repair (after diagnosis by
list), the second has a bit of 'play' in the zoom ring which affects
the focus slightly. I'm waiting for another to come up as a replacement
or I will be forced to get it fixed under warranty.
There may be some bargains to be had but their staff only seem to give
a cursory glance at equipment on the way in.

BG-2 for £20 !!
Almost as good as the 35-70/f3.6 that I got from them for £40.
Immaculate
glass and cosmetically exc, apart from normal wear on aperture ring.
I hate to thing what they gave the guy who traded it in though
-probably £10
or so?
I know that their Manchester shop offered me £25 for a very tidy OM-1n
when
I enquired about trade-in value. Needless to say, I declined the offer.
Cheers,
Andy.
