That doesn't sound right for any f2.5 lens. Does the aperture in fact
open up all the way?
I have recently done some close-up work with the 135/4.5 on an OMPC with
no difficulty with the view, even exended on the bellows. I just popped
a 135.3.5 on an OMPC here in the dim study and get a clear, even image
edge to edge of stuff across the room.
Even if it's not the aperture, there is something wrong with that Tamron.
