I just this afternoon finished shooting a series of identical
shots with the 90/2 Zuiko and the 90/2.8 Tamron macro lenses. All
were done on Provia 100F with an OM-4Ti firmly perched atop a
Manfrotto 405 head on a Manfrotto 3221 tripod.
It's big and it's heavy, but the more I use this tripod/head
combo, the less I mind the weight and the more I like it. Hell, I
think I love it! The 405 is the absolute greatest head ever for
shooting macro. I highly recommend it.
I won't get the trannies back until next week, and then sometime
thereafter, as the spirit moves me, I'll try to put up a few shots
for the edification of the curious.
Walt :-)
