BTW, the song "Hot Rod Lincoln" was written about a race up the old
Lewiston Hill. Songwriter Charles Ryan is now 87, but still performs in
concert. The Lewiston Morning Tribune published a nice article about
Mr. and Mrs. Ryan in their June 27, 2003 edition:
