Hi,

Thanks for providing us with these comparison shots. But you seem to
have shot these on 2 different days. If you look at the left side
skyscraper. On the 10D shot it is coverd by a green thing for
construction-work and on the velvia picture it is gone.

If you made the 2 shots not at the same day withing the same 2 minutes
time-frame, then only the different lightening can already result in
very strong differences. So a comparison is not possible.

Dirk

Dear all,

Here is the promised 10D vs Velvia shot:

http://www.accura.com.hk/Film-10D.htm

The Velvia shot was made 2 1/2 year ago and the 10D shot just made this
morning, there may be some effect due to different lighting but I think
it affect very little on the result.

You should download them and make 200% view on your monitor, I recommend
you just download the centre cropped files since the full frame original
is quite large.

Yes, my 4000ED scanner may be not good enough but my microscope should
be ok. See the film grain on both 4000ED scan and microscope view! Or my
eyes has problem?

See how close the 4000ED compare to the microscope view, do we need
8000dpi?

C.H.Ling
