One very interesting thing from this one -- minimum focus distance on the
lenses is pretty impressive, to say the least:
14-54 (28-108) => 22cm = near enough 1:1 (!)
50-200 (100-400) => 1.2m = 1:2
50 macro goes to 1:1 out-of-box, 2:1 with ext.tube
300 (600) => 2m = 1:2.2
That's pretty good going -- a 28-108 lens that'll focus down to lifesize as
well would be a _very_ nice all-purpose lens, and the "600mm" going down to
1:2 would make wildlife spotting a lot easier. It makes me wonder what the
macro lens is for; presumably it's better corrected close up or something --
it's faster as well, I suppose.
