WHAT'S A FANG?
Long, long ago in a far away place, there emerged from the primordial
goo, beings with an interest in things OM. They were a strange and
diverse lot, with a common bond, that transcended any differences that
existed between them. One such being was Doris Fang. She shared the
common bond of a keen interest in things OM and she had a trait that
many wished to emulate. Doris was like the pig who hunts the truffle
when it came to sniffing out a great OM deal. She became legendary in
her ability to find OM treasures at garage sales, second hand stores,
resell shops at churches and elsewhere and buying them at nothing but
the most favorable of prices. Those occasional great deals that came
ones way were no longer great deals, they were Fangs, a term used to
honor the legendary Doris and also to acknowledge someone's good
fortune. Having explained that to you, I leave you with this, "May the
