Come on Guys...... cast your mind back 30-odd years (those of us who were alive
then) when Olympus launched the OM1.

At that time technology moved VERY slowly and the basic SLR design had been
around for years with little development, so (I'd imagine) the reaon why Oly
could do a dramatic redesign was that they were the ones who took time out to
have a serious re-think.
Nowdays everyone's continually trying to out-design everyone else so presumably
not such scope to come up with something no-one else has thought of.
So what I'm saying is, as far as I can see the E1 is the entry-level of a
complete and new pro system. It may not be earth-shattering now, but at least
wait until you've had a go with one before knocking it.
