One of my local Olympus dealers in Copenhagen has a 49mm Tamron cap. It
functions just like a normal Olympus cap, and costs around 13USD. It is not
like the newer Tamron caps.

I am fully aware this may be considered blatant heresy by some,
but anyway, here goes:
I have actually given serious consideration to replacing all my
55mm and 72mm Olympus lens caps with Tamron caps. They just work
so darn much better. At least, that's my opinion. I can't do the
same with the 49mm caps, though, because I don't think Tamron
makes that size.
It's still just a thought, but it may turn into a deed someday
soon.
