If the cause for the caps coming off is something pressing on the
release tabs then this probably won't help. But, in any case, try this:
After placing the cap on the lens give it a *gentle* clockwise twist to
snug it down just as you would a threaded cap or filter. The tabs are
riding in the filter threads and giving it a little twist will draw it
down, bring the cap into full contact with the front of the lens and
keep the cap from rocking. Try it, you'll like it.
