Acquiring mine was the best $30 I ever spent.
Made the 77mm lens cap ($6) and the (2nd hand) Adaptall mount ($20) and the
(yet-to-be-purchased) tripod mount ($22+pp from John H or ?40 over here)
all seem like expensive luxuries...
