Nor has he asked permission to link to my mirror, but the eSIF's
bandwidth use is not huge and very unlikely to cause concern on these
servers, so I don't think linking from auctions is going to be a problem.

The reason I asked is that I have stopped doing so because of the bandwidth issues. I admit I really like the added value of linking to it, but was trying to respect the wishes of keeping the online version 'amongst us'.He didn't ask me permission to link to my mirror, which I know he has linked to. I know other sellers have also linked to my mirror, but so far the amount of traffic generated by eBay has been negligible. The average daily traffic is about 200MB/day, of which eBay accounts for about .50f that. Go ahead and link to it, I doubt it'll become a problem. -mark < This message was delivered via the Olympus Mailing List > < For questions, mailto:owner-olympus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > < Web Page: http://Zuiko.sls.bc.ca/swright/olympuslist.html > |
