The meter visible in the viewfinder uses the same sensor whether in
manual or auto. The actual auto exposure uses a different reading (OTF).
So your "manual reading" could appear wrong but your automatic reading
could still give the correct exposure.
Don't the 2 series screens give about a two stop higher reading in the
viewfinder for the OM2? Are you lucky enough to have a 2 series screen
in your OM2?
Also isn't there a separate adjustment for the "manual" reading?
