Really, though, what is it these people know that I don't? It's just two

available at Radio Shack.
Thanks, Steve Goss, Dallas Tx usa
True . . . for the most part. Radio Shack has numerous types of sub-mini
phone plugs, but doesn't have a right angle one. Been looking for sturdy
right-angle versions for quite some time to make more of these little
cables. The diameter of a sub-mini phone plug is quite small and I've
always been afraid of accidentally snapping off the tip on the straight ones.
Reason for wanting to home-brew these small cords? The Metz G15 and G16
grip have a sub-mini phone jack for exactly the same purpose as on the
Bounce Grip 2. However, the M.Grip Cord will not reach its location (too
short by just a hair). In frustration, I modified an In.Focus cord which
is slightly longer. Took it apart and bypassed the ultra-mini PC board
inside the "button" end.
