I don't disagree with your thesis at all, but isn't it kind of
comparing apples and oranges? The bottom line remains the same:
although the perception may change, the perspective doesn't.
And I say this as one who loves the differences in perception that
can be created using wide angles and telephoto lenses. That may
account, in part, for why I have 17, 21, 24, 28 and 35mm wide
angles and teles to 600mm (not counting the 1250).
