Ugh. The thought of generating so much dust around precision fitted mechanics
gives me the shivers.
I filed the rear-element protection tab down on my 90/2 when I got it, so it
would fit some things (like the 2XA and third-party extension tubes) that the
tab interfered with. I put the lens in a plastic bag while I filed, making sure
gravity was taking the filings away. And I still was nervous some of it would
find its way inside the lens...

My Paasche works with just about anything. It comes with different needles you
can change for different viscosity fluid. I most recently used it with
Rust-Oleum on my van. On sale right now for $50 from Harbor Freight
<http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=32371>. (I
paid $60 a month ago!)
Disclaimer and requisite Olympus content: I have no connection to Paasche or
Harbor Freight, except to give them nearly as much money as I've spent on
Zuikos...
