Only some (only medium format?) lens are leaf shutters. 35mm RF still use
focal plane shutters.

Yes, these reasons are probably more important than the expensive glass,
especially at lower speed.
It seems to me, Voigtlander, Mamiya etc.. all those that make glass or
RF's themselves yield sharp sharp pictures.
Or perhaps, there's no "low end consumer anything" as far as RF's?
The Voigtlanders are the low end for now, unless you go for the classic
used ones.
