The grips are prone to drying and stretching -- if yours has, the best bet is to
just replace it. See if you can get part #CA986700 from Olympus. If not, the
50mm 1.4's all use the same part -- you might harvest one from a "dead" lens.
Last option is to cut the old one diagonally along the diamond knurls and remove
a row or two, then reglue with contact cement.
