you think I love the Coast Guard?  By the time I got the chance to volunteer 
to go to Nam with a ship, I knew I wanted no part of it.  I don't regret not 
volunteering.  I would have gained a couple vet benefits (Viet Nam vet vs. Viet 
Nam Era vet, etc.)... but it was my way of protesting while still serving.
