If such an adapter existed, how do you value the cost of it? Easy..
If I own a 250mm/f2 (which I don't), how much would that 300mm/f2.8 on
that 4/3rd's system cost? Well, if the adapter costs $200, and I
already have the lens, I don't think that's even a question! That
300mm/f2.8 will cost more than $500, I can guarantee you that! So to
some, it might be well worth it.
I'm just scared that Olympus waited too long and N* and C* have the head
start in the game.
Now if Fuji jumped in and coughed up 3-4 lenses and a body (a few of the
lenses being wide) and the body choices were a pro line and a prosumer..
Then the game might get really interesting.
Kodak with a body and Tamron, Sigma, and Tokina with a few lenses..
That would be great!
In any case, people who own C*non's and N*kons should rejoice in three
weeks! They will no doubt lower the price whenever competition
introduces a new camera..
