Well, I prefer to take some shoots, taking precautions of course, than keeping
all my gear in bag. I did it once six years ago and I decided not ever to do
that again. A reliable Om1 and a Zuiko 35-105 is what you need there.

How do you feel about this dilemma ?
When I end up with something, I feel is "too nice to use", I sell it. It is
after all a tool. That being said, I protect my gear while using it as best I
can and if I know I'm going someplace with some possibility of something
getting screwed up, I'll take the stuff that is closest to beater grade, to
minimize my potential loss. I also have a little umbrella gizmo that attaches
to my tripod and it keeps the camera, but not all of the photographer dry in a
rain storm. Bill Barber
