Hi all-
First off, sorry about not offering the hood to the list first. Oversight,
never to happen again.
You know? I am not starting a ruckus here but. . . .
$7.50 is my standard charge for e**y stuff that doesn't weight too much or
is too bulky. Does it cost me $7.50 to actually pay for the postage? No.
It typically costs $4.30. Do I re-use boxes, packing peanuts and bubble
wrap from items that have come in? Of course (I am "green" after all<g>).
So why $7.50? Hmmmm, let's see? Ten minutes to box it up, probably 30
minutes round trip to the PO (including standing in the always underserved
line) and a wee-little-tad-bit 'o gasoline. Is any of that worth money?
You bet! Is $3.20 a bargain? I think so. So if $7.50 keeps people from
bidding, so be it.
BTW. I inadvertantly set shipping on two recent items at $20, and after
both were paid for without question, refunded $10 to the buyer. So I am not
a heartless f**k<g>. FWIW.
D.
