A few years back, there were web sites out there that would scan the major
online auctions for particular items, yes. I think most of those got stopped
by the various anti-deep-linking legislations, and nobody's bothered
recreating one given eBay's current dominance.
It wouldn't be all that hard to re-create one, it's just a matter of
slogging through all the sites to work out what format they expect searches
to be in and then parsing the results.
