I put my LP turntable on the wall. This might not sound like a big deal
but it is. Ten years ago, I bought "shelf brackets" and
put up a particle board shelf. How hard could it be, right?
Shelf brackets are not competent to hold up a turntable.
Maybe you're right, but I've had my Linn-Sondek LP12 on a Sound
Organisation wall mount stand for about 12 years. It provides outstanding
isolation. The only aberration I've noted was once when my neighbor felled
a great, dead oak. I happened to be just about to play a record when the
massive deciduous hit the ground and shook our house like an
earthquake. The tone arm bounced off the holder.
I can put up with that every once in a while.
