Sigma stopped making manual focus lenses in 1999 or 2000. I think. Sigma's
catalogs would reference manual focus mounts, but rarely listed Olympus as
available. I own Sigma's 14mm rectilinear lens and a Sigma 180 F2.8 macro in
Olympus mounts. I found a Sigma 800 F5.6 APO in Olympus mount in East Texas.
The
lens was ordered in 1997 and took four months for delivery. The owner has a
modest selection of Zuiko lenses, but has an incredible collection of
aftermarket
Olympus mount lenses. That's were I found the 180 F2.8 macro. In addition to
the 800 Sigma, this guy owns a 300 F2.8 Tokina and a 500 F4.5 Sigma, both with
Oly mounts. Any of my Dallas area Olympus friends ready for a night time raid?
