Condolences on the loss of your father. And congratulations for successfully
recording for posterity the good birthday, the renewal of vows, the kiss.

I too, rather like the photo without the filter effect, but a) it's tough to
judge on a monitor, and b) I would bet your mother would be happy with
either. Why not let her choose? I also like the fact that you can see both
of their wedding bands in that kiss pic, which adds to it's emotional impact.
No apology needed for your post, Mark. It was very touching, and obvious
that you loved your dad.

P.S. Amen on the checkup advice. I'm losing 2 cousins at the moment to
cancer, and a 3rd has just been diagnosed, but she is in an early stage, so
there is hope for her. Put that Oly endoscope to work, too - if you're over
50, get that exam!
