Be careful here. At least in the states, the airlines/airports are very clear
that the x-ray machines used for check baggage most definitely WILL fog film,
and most airports have warning signs stating this. I'm guessing the
same/similar machines are used elsewhere throughout the world.
Personally, I haven't traveled by air out of the states in years, and have
never had any problems getting hand checks of my film on US domestic flights.
