Very little distortion, definitely.

Ehrm, never opened it :-)

Definitely. I can only tell from usage what a great lens this is.
I've notice is that I got used so much to Zuiko quality, that I can only tell
how good they are by looking at other lenses. For example, I have a tiny P&S
camera from Minolta (TC-1) with a hyped-up 28mm lens, and the results are nice,
but the Zuiko 28mm/f2.8 is far better. Whereas the Minolta will give me a
wide-angle look on the picture, the photos taken with Zuiko 28mm/f2.8 looks
like a they've been taken with a standard lens. Very, very limited perspective
distortion. Also, resolution seems better (after enlarging shots from both
cameras, taken with the same film).
I have actually travelled with only the 28mm, and it works great, particularly
in cities.
Peter.
